The benchmark performance of this Solid State Disk is very high. The speed of the Vertex SSD has been increased over 90% when compared to the previous generation, beating the competition by far. Sequential read and write speeds come close to the MAX bandwidth for SATA III, the Vertex 3 is an excellent all-round SSD drive.
