The Coolink Corator DS is produced by the same company as the Noctua NH D14. The Gapless Direct Touch technology has a
positive effect on the contact with the processor. At reference voltages, the single fan Corator DS is equal to the Thermaltake Frio with two fans, but @ full load its performance is in between the Frio and the NH D14.
This cooler is somewhat quieter, a lot smaller and also cheaper than the DH14.
Overclocking:
The 875k was OCed @ 4.8ghz, vCore @ 1.475v. The differences were 3.5 degrees Celsius between the coratar and the Noctua NH D14 which
kept the CPU somewhat cooler.
Installation:
Installation only takes a couple of minutes and caused us no issues at all. A small case might not cope with the cooler
due to the length, besides that there is only 41mm of head room for memory.
Fan:
The fan accompanying the Corator DS cooler is called the SWiF2-120P, an eleven blade
Hydro Dynamic Bearing fan that spins between 800 and 1700 rpm. This fan is also seperately available.
Test Setup:
Test System:
- Computer Case: Antec Dark Fleet DF 85

Compared to:
Noctua NH D14 with 2 fans and the Thermaltake Frio
